Apparel Impact:
We launched the Fashion Climate Fund in 2022 – a $250 million ambition to unlock a total of $2 billion in sustainable finance towards the mission of decarbonizing the supply chain by 2040. As part of this fund, we will apply resources to identify, fund, scale and measure solutions for material efficiency, preferred materials and next generation materials. Many of these solutions will focus on upcycled and recycled content in fashion products.
Challenge
We are still building our approach with increased resources, so today the challenge is to build the function internally to establish the criteria for funding and scaling solutions, leveraging our Climate Solutions Portfolio.
