Africa Collects Textile (ACT) is a social enterprise founded in Nairobi, Kenya in 2014 and has expanded to Lagos, Nigeria in 2021. ACT promotes a circular economy for fashion by collecting and sorting used textiles and footwear for resale, reuse, upcycling. Materials are looped back into the value chain to manage waste from fast fashion and second hand clothes while safeguarding the environment.
